So its possible to decrypt smartware passwords? Or does the smartware just
blocks access to the file system?

Wd smartware password reset

You'll need to use either an external SATA case or connector, or connect
the drive to an internal SATA port and power connector, if any are
available. You'll need cables for these, too, if you don't have them
already. Once you have that set up, the drive should show up somewhere
among your devices. Just where will depend on what system you're running.
You might have to monitor system logs to see it.

Assuming the drive is working, and nothing critical has been overwritten,
ReallyMine MIGHT be able to recover your data without the password. If I
remember correctly, all it needs is the encryption keys/data stored on the
disk itself. The password is just used to generate and match the key. I
might be wrong on that, though. It's been awhile since I read that paper..

I'd say, just get the drive connected as described, and try to run
ReallyMine against it. It should tell you whether it finds the key, and can
decrypt it.

How can I bypass the password which the user set to his external WD drive?
I succeed to have access to the drive but nothing can be do till I enter the right password.
How can I hack this unknown password? (except of geting the right password from the user).

I have played with this one quite a bit, unless someone else out there has learned something that I missed, it's not something that can be done.

If you can crack 256-bit encryption, then you may be able to get the data,, but if this is a 2.5' passport then there are additional complications as well.

What are the additional complications without the encryption?
What do you actually saying? that if one forgot his password the drive is useless forever?!
It can't be format again and ofcourse that the data is gone?
sounds weird.

Isn't there an option to format and reset the password?

Yes there is an option to format the drive, erase the password, and lose all data. It pops up when you type in the wrong password too many times in a row.

There is a trick to this crypto code.
What you need to do is connect the drive to your PC and then
'CALL THE USER FOR THE PASSWORD'
